The Estate of Michael Goldberg was founded in January 2008 shortly after Michael's passing in 2007.
Since its inception, the Estate has endeavored to develop a complete inventory of work spanning from 1940 to 2007. In addition, the Estate has compiled archival documentation including articles and reviews, book publications, lectures, photographs, exhibition announcements and personal writings.
The Estate currently operates from 222 Bowery in New York City, which has been Goldberg's studio since 1962. 222 Bowery is a landmark building and was home to William S. Burroughs, John Giorno, Lynda Benglis, and Mark Rothko.
